Each summer, the universally known great Moroccan cultural festival
is organized in Asilah, with concerts, spectacles of dances, plays,
conferences and debates animating the streets of the médina.

During this period, Asilah attracts a great number of international
artists. This passion is even visible on the walls of the city,
where contemporary painters have drawn frescos and various modern
and traditional decorations.

Today Asilah is a small town of twenty thousand inhabitants, appreciated
for its long fine sand beaches. |
